Carolyn Sexton Craig, CPA
Carolyn founded the firm in 1991, having moved to Texas in 1986 after numerous years experience with a large national firm. She has spent 34 years in public accounting, licensed in Texas, Iowa and Illinois. Her education includes a BS in mathematics from the University of South Dakota, supplemented by accounting studies at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. She passed the CPA exam in 1976.
Although Carolyn’s primary emphasis is in all phases of tax matters, she has always maintained a substantial area of practice in financial statements and accounting related to them. At the firm, she spends a lot of time with upstart business to get things going the right direction – advising as to business entity, accounting software and related matters. Thru her years of experience Carolyn has become proficient in preparing out of state income tax returns.
A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPAs and the San Antonio Chapter of CPAs, Carolyn loves reading, knitting and sewing in her free time. She has been married to her husband Bob for 39 years. A NASCAR fan of Tony Stewart, Chi Omega alum and a doting grandmother, Carolyn’s passion is accounting and educating anyone and everyone who wants to know how to run a business effectively. |

Kyle Craig
Kyle joined our firm in 2005 after having earned a business degree in Accounting at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Kyle grew up in the San Antonio area. While he was earning his degree he worked at Home Depot where he learned invaluable business skills. There he was encouraged to initiate creative and innovative ways of serving their customers and improving best practice policies. Those skills are still part of his professional outlook and part of what sets him apart from other accountants.
Kyle has experience in all aspects of QuickBooks. From helping to set up a new company to untangling an existing mess and assisting to correctly establish best practices for your accounting staff. He is QuickBooks certified ProAdvisor for 2008 & 2009. He is also responsible for both corporate and individual tax return preparation.
Kyle is always on the go. During the spring and summer if he isn’t fishing or kayaking he is probably out running. Once fall hits it’s a countdown to Wurstfest! Guess that just leaves us with winter, which can only mean one thing…. taxes. |

Shannon McCauley
Shannon joined our firm in 2004, bringing with her experience in project management, nonprofit accounting and customer service. Born in Iowa, she has been in the San Antonio area most of her life. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Texas A & M University in College Station (Whoop!).
Shannon provides services to our clients including check writing, payroll and concierge services. In addition to that, she is responsible for our billing and collections.
Shannon and her husband, Stephen, have an adorable 10 year old daughter, Erin, a next generation Aggie and accountant (according to her grandmother.) Shannon enjoys fitness activities, reading, crafting and spending time at church. Shannon also serves on the New Braunfels Girl Scouts Service Unit as the SHARE director. |
